We will lead you to a frontier where health unleashes your company’s full potential.

We understand the struggles that Canadian workers experience in navigating our healthcare system. They must overcome several challenges in accessing care, maintaining their health, and balancing their lives. These challenges affect your group insurance premiums and your bottom-line.

Your workforce is sicker than you think.

2 out of 5 Canadian workers aged 18 to 34 have one chronic disease
3 out of 5 Canadian workers aged 18 to 64 have one chronic disease
4 out of 5 Canadian workers will eventually develop one chronic disease

The health issues affecting your workforce.

Ringside MD has the solution. We diagnose, treat, and manage these conditions and more.

The waiting game.

Healthcare in Canada is universally covered but is not universally accessible. 57% of Ontarians wait 2 or more days to see a family doctor*. Each appointment takes on average 2 - 3 hours, much of which is spent in travel and waiting rooms. Patients often require multiple visits to address a single health concern.

The Canadian Fraser Institute reports Canadians wait an average of 10.6 weeks from seeing a specialist to treatment. That doesn’t include the wait times to see a family doctor and the time it takes to be referred to a specialist.

Ringside MD removes barriers to accessing a family doctor. We offer a single point of contact for healthcare services.

Annual group insurance premium increases are driven by prescription drugs.

Health and Wellness products have limited success in controlling these costs.

The Xerox 2016 Canadian Health Care Trend Survey Results showed increases in group insurance health claim costs to be greater than 11% annually. This trend is expected to continue and the impact is compounded year-after-year. A rise in claims means increases in premiums for the employer and employee.

Even the best wellness products are limited in their scope and usefulness. They do not integrate well with our healthcare system. Ultimately, your employees are referred back to their Family Doctor off site.

We are your family doctor.

Wellness products offered by Canadian companies (by revenue)

Canadian companies are spending revenue on fragmented wellness programs to boost productivity and to lower expenses . Ironically, only a small portion is disease screening, which is both the largest detriment to productivity and the largest cost driver.
